This app is complete crap. I purchased the camera add-on, have the app properly set up and tracking turned on - but absolutely nothing happens even when opening the phone up when its been sleeping. It apparently took a single photo when I started the tracking, but it not only didnt email it to me like it was supposed to but didnt even save it to my photos. The locations plotted in the tracking reports are nearly a mile away from my actual location. Minutes after setting up the account and successfully logging in, the website completely failed to recognize my email address and password, requiring a reset. There is no embedded ability to freeze or erase the phone contents if stolen. And yes, it eats battery power like a fiend. In short, its entirely useless and even further from ready for prime time than others have said. Dont waste your money, believe me. I would have thought by now that the problems a couple of other users commented about would have been fixed, but obviously not. This is a complete outrage, and I want my money back!

Im waiting for the supports answer, but if it is what I think it is, its useless. For one sole reason... Ive tested it and... 1 - it seems to only send tracking information after the program has been opened. I assume this because in 20 minutes the program hadnt sent me any notification. Whileas right after I opened the App, I received one tracking information. And, coincidence or not, if I repeated this process 2 times in a row, I would receive 2 tracking notifications in my e-mail, which lends me to think this apps only sends tracking information after its accessed. Well, no thief would have interest in opening an App called "GadgetTrak" and less thieves would manage to find my password in order to open it. Therefore this app seems to be useless. NOTE: Im still waiting for an answer from the technical support, so it might be just some misunderstanding.

The in-app purchase of the picture app never worked, and never sent a picture. It literally only makes a shutter sound (again only once). Thieves would have to open the app for it to work! Offers half hour intervals of location finding... TF?! If your looking to catch a thief now - with this app- consider your phone lost and the $5.99 you spent gone.

Cant get the App to send me photos after having purchased the "Camera Reports" feature. I get emailed the location fine. Also, when I enable tracking from a computer no "discreet" message gets to my phone and no way to send one myself as App description implies. Notification is set to "on" in my phone. Numerous emails to Customer Service with ZERO reply!

This app does not work, even after enabling restrictions i was still able to delete this app. I cant see camera reports, overall this app is rubbish and not enough information. PLEASE I NEED A REFUND FOR THIS APP

Good luck getting it to take pictures

I tried to contact support 4to5 times.they say theyll get back with you within 24 hours Ive been waiting for over three weeks for answers to e-mails I sent the support department. I get no tracking no e-mail reports nothing called the number on their site its their sales department they cannot help with any support problems . Dont buy this app. I tested it and no photos were emailed to me even though I bought that add-on. I read all their instructions but still nothing. Also, NO MAP appeared on my laptop showing the location of my iPhone. They charged me $8.99 and I got nothing. This is the kind of company that ought to be forbidden from selling their products online

This app was working fine last year,i even bought the camera reports option and it workerd fine.But now i think the servers are down or something,as the app is not working anymore,even the site has various bugs.I think GadgetTrak era is over.

Their web site doesnt locate my device as they have advertised. I emailed them twice (their support claims they will respond in 24 hrs...BS!) and never got a reply. I paid good money for this expensive app and got nothing. Dont buy this app!

Does not work with the new version

I bought it today and simply does not work on latest iOS version! Lost my money?

My iPhone was recently lost/stolen and so I bought GadgetTrack for $4.99 for my new phone. GadgetTrak is just a duplicate of the "Find My iPhone" function in iCloud. The only difference was GadgetTrak is supposed to send you camera reports with photos from your phone when you enable tracking. But when you first buy the app, they dont tell you that feature is an extra .99 cents. I sent e-mail to GadgetTrak support and never heard back. This app is a total ripoff! Why pay $6 for an app thats the same as what you already get for free in iCloud??

Ive just purchased an iPhone 6 yesterday. I looked around for tracking apps. I found this one and was amazed about what it promised. I researched it, and watched YouTube videos on it. I was so impressed, I purchased the app. Big mistake. Neither my iPhone or my iPad show up on any map, it never loads tracking information. Theres no option to take pictures. So what are we paying for? It doesnt do what it promises. Save your self the trouble and money, and skip this app.

I bought this app and tested it out to see if I could track myself as a test. The tracking function does not work! Locations do not show up on the app. I checked my email for notifications and I received no notifications as specified. I need to get money back. Dont buy this garbage. Customer service doesnt even answer or reply!

Save your money. This app does not track or take a picture and Ive paid for both. Apps like these should not be sold here Apple. I will be filing a complaint.

If you use this on your computer and then try to remove it you will get a message every 2 or 3 minutes asking you for your location and will render your computer unusable. It will also navigate to your other devices that share any info. Beware! Beware! Beware!
