Still waiting for the conformation email...

There is no way anyone is going to click on an app that says anything about tracking with a big red finger print on it. Was very impressed at first, but the update icon is disappointing. Glad I got it before it cost money, because now it seems useless.

The idea behind this app is great... But unfortunately, it drains the battery level to 20% in less than 2 hours when activated. Really too bad.

Doesnt appear to do much more than Find My IPhone app thru iCloud. If you are buying this app because you can take pictures of someone who might steal your iOS, be aware that they charge 0.99 per picture.

Recently had my iPad stolen (luckily recovered), so I purchased gadgetrak. Photo option does not work. Using the device from my iPhone does not work. I can track my devices (using my laptop or iPad), but why spend $4 for the same service I can get for free? Accuracy of location pinpoint is not any more detailed, so overall I was quite disappointed.

Wont update or take pictures with iPhone 6

The app will not let me create an account, the webpage gives me an error if they try to create an account, and the app support, right here, doesnt work! Got an account, tracking works BUT NO CAMERA REPORTS, and NO SUPPORT!!!

Dont buy this app, its not working and you wont get support from them.

2015-06-17 I bought this GadgetTrak apps from iTunes Apps Store last year including send camera options. However, I can only access the Dashboard but there is no tracking updates at all for all or any of my registered devices, whats wrong with this app? Or whats wrong with the Tracking Report server?? Is it down?? Please help!!!

I have managed to configure the utility and it is very promising. Currently one needs to hit the "Trak" icon to refresh position online.. But as soon as the iPhone SDK lets running applications in the background persistently this will be wonderful. For now anyone can use it to help track your position by anybody that wishes to.. (Like a worrisome parent, spouse or a friend)..

Good idea to make such app, but there are a lot of improvements to do. First of all this program doesnt act as a trojan (but it should). If you want it to send data this app must be run on a phone, but what if the thief just disable it from process list? It would be more correct to use a daemon that is invisible for user and always checks tracking status (with a certain interval). I hope these improvements will be done soon.

App installed fine. Claimed it was working, but on testing multiple times (including after several iPhone reboots) it simply does nothing - no emails, no camera, no tracking. It sends a message to the phone (that would alert a thief, Id think) but even after leaving my phone out overnight my gadgettrak web page said there was no tracking possible. Multiple emails to developer got two responses, including "they had never seen this problem" (really?!) and "we will have our engineers respond". They cleared up the confusing instructions but it still absolutely fails to do anything at all. I also followed all advice in these reviews, including locking down deletion of apps, etc. Despite multiple follow-up emails from me, they have simply stopped responding. Save your money. I wish I had.

Easy set-up for iPhone & laptop. Was able to immediately track iPhone on laptop but havent been able to track laptop. Not sure if Im doing something wrong or if theres an app issue. Been using "FindiPhone" to track iPhone but requires MobileMe Acct which is $100/yr. This app is obviously much cheaper!

I like this app as it tracks your iPhone every hour or any iPhone really say if you installed it on your girlfriends iPhone or boyfriend wherever they go you will know this app should be called girlfriend track hahaha and the real work is done in safari so app Dow not need to Be open just put it on a folder and mark it settings greT app every hour youll get an email telling you exatly where tbe phone is

I guess it must work for some folks but it would never let me register my devices and support is non-existent. Id wait days for a response only to be ask a question which I d answer and then never hear back. All I can say is I hope it works for you. Maybe is was my faulty but well never know as there is no support.

This app never allowed me to register my iPad. It didnt work so I am requesting a refund.

Not even accurate within a block! Company said make sure to get most recent update installed...made ZERO difference. Very inconvenient to use, must login at least twice to make any changes. Waste of $3.99. Now to get a refund.

Worked when I bought it several months ago, but now nothing. No tracking, no maps, no reports, no photos, no data on website. Save your money.

I aquired this product thinking it a cool idea for activiating the cameras and get a photo report from my devices once stollen. Unforuntaly, this product seemed to work with the iPhone but not the iPad2 Wifi or itouch.

The concept is very good if you do not have find my iPhone app. First, the app should be easier to install. Second the picture functionality only will take a picture when you enter the app on your camera enabled device, however in enter the app you need your password which the thief will not have. Third, it seems to be a bit buggy since it should send data every 10 min and it clearly was not. Fourth, you can not set the frequency for data sends. Fifth, if your phone is stolen and want to use a friends iPhone to turn on, you can not since safari on the iPhone can not access the online account since it is not supported. All around good concept but I feel they misrepresented the functionality and stole my money. Buyer beware!
